I'm sad that Sydney doesn't get a book. I liked the plot a lot. Having a dual threat kept things very interesting. I was convinced that Lyra's parents were behind the attempts to kill her. That's why I didn't see Mahler as a threat.
Anita, I never thought of Lyra's parents possibly being behind the attempts on her life. That would have made a good twist.I hope the plot changes a little bit for the books we have left in the series. I'm starting to feel like I'm reading the same book over and over. The only difference seems to be the names and the occupation of the heroine.
We're in agreement! And I do feel the books are beginning to follow to much in the same plot line. Individually, I enjoy them but strung together it's repetitive.

If I read them as soon as they came out, I probably wouldn't even notice the repetitive plot.
True, Robin. I'm sure the fact that we're reading one after another is partly to blame. I'll keep reading anyway because I do love the heroes and heroines. And I love a good romance suspense story and these are good.
