How well do you think Alain Delon would have done in a Count of Mont Cristo Movie? I honestly think he would have been the PERFECT EDMOND DANTES!!!!!!

Not one person has captured Edmond Dantes so perfectly onscreen even though many good portrayals capture certain personality aspects well such as Jim Caviezel portraying his brooding personality after imprisonment and Gerard Depardieu capturing the sophisticated witty count image so perfectly.
Which is why I think its a shame Alain Delon never was casted as Edmond Dantes. He' just BORN FOR THE ROLE!!!!!!
