Recommend books for quantum mechanics / particle physics

I am highly interested in understanding quantum theory, i already understand the basics but core concepts are not very clear.
I have some familiarity with quantum physics, so i am not looking for historical narrative of development.
At this point, i am not looking for books on "speculations based on quantum mechanic"
What I am looking for is "explainer" type books that explains the quntum physics, quarks, ferminos, bosons, positrons, about antimatter, and how it all works togather to make up the latest quantum theory model.
My ultimate goal is to use this knowledge to read serious content on "Perception vs Reality", "Existence", "How and where modern physics agrees with metaphysical beliefs and where does it contradict".
Any recommendation on books that would help develop a strong foundation of quantum physics, not just at introductory level, but some serious reading ?
If any one can suggest a road map with book titles, that would be really helpful.
Thanks
