Adding a series, please

Hello friendly librarians :-)

I’d like to put book 2 in my series up on Goodreads prior to publication so that readers know it’s in the pipeline. It’s planned for publication in November. Would you kindly set up the series for me? The series name is:

Jasyn and the Astronauts

Once the series page is set up, am I able to add Book 1 myself?

And is adding book 2 (currently unpublished) something I can do myself, or will I need librarian knowledge?

If you mean adding the book to Goodreads, you can do it yourself, as can anyone. This link should take you to the page: https://www.goodreads.com/book/new?bo... You don't necessarily need to wait for publication. Publication dates can be set for the future.

If you mean adding it to the series, I'm less sure - I don't know what permissions come with author profiles. If you can't, I'd be happy to add it. Just reply to this message and I'll pop back.

Hi Amelia,

Thank you so much for your help! I've now set up book 2 and can see it on my author page. Though, when I click on 'edit details' and scroll down to the 'add new series' the system tells me I'm not authorised to do that.

Would you mind working your librarian magic and adding Book 2 (The Sea of Stars) to the JASYN AND THE ASTRONAUTS series?
