Issues across multiple series

Something very odd is going on with the Series. I first saw it with Geronimo Stilton, but I've seen it with several series now where the non-English and English book tiles have been mixed together. When I view a book I have read--with an English title--and then I click into the series, first of all that same book title is now in a foreign language and it no longer shows that I've read it. At first I thought the foreign language version was in addition to the English version, but that's not the case. The foreign language version is replacing the English version and then no longer reflecting accurately that you've read it. Another example is Dragonbreath series, The Magic School Bus, the Land of Stories, etc.

This is a librarian issue because it is causing problems with cleanups. The amazon bot has been importing so many bad records and changing or removing the default editions.

It has been going on for at least a week now. I expected to see some kind of announcement here.

It is not a librarian issue because it is bots changing defaults and therefore a functionality issue. Librarians cannot change default editions.
