Ophelia sings on, smiling to herself, getting ready for the chorus.

Emi smiles slightly, then she goes into singing the chorus.

Ophelia follows her lead, and eventually begins to harmonize. Her voice goes slightly higher, and it works with the song.

Emi’s pitch rises with Ophelia’s. She still sounds confident but really isn’t.

Ophelia smiles and slows for the bridge of the song, sing softly and sweetly. Ophelia thinks for a second she could hear that Emi wasn’t very confident, but it goes away and she doesn’t say anything, thinking she was just imagining it.

Emi copy’s Ophelia. She does gain little confidence that quickly goes away.

When the song ends, Ophelia smiles, “That was great! You are really good!”

Emi shrugs, once again blowing her hair off her face. “I’m not that good.” She says.

“Well, I think you are.” She says firmly, putting the guitar down.

“Whatever.” Emi says. “Anyway we did great. You’re really good at playing the guitar.”

“Thank you.” She blushed a tiny bit, smiling proudly, finally believing it, “Singing has always been more my thing”

“So what now?” Emi asks, now sitting down at the desk.

“You’re in second year, right?” She asks, smiling.

“Yeah.” Emi frowns. “But I’m 13 so… Anyway why did you want to know?”

“I’m thirteen! I’m a third year. I
Just wish you could come into hogsmeade. But I also wanted to know if I could help you with homework or anything.” She shrugs, sitting down in the floor, looking around at the plants.

“I technically could.” She says, eyes glistening. “I’d just need to sneak in.”

Ophelia looks hesitant. “There’s a trip tomorrow…but I don’t know, what if you get caught? You could be expelled for that,”

“I know…” Emi says. “Do you want to risk it? If I get caught it’s going to be all on me.”

[Addie✨Lovegood✨Gilmore]

“I mean, it’s not like you look too young. You’re thirteen. Maybe…maybe you could. But how?” She looks a bit nervous.

Emi goes to a nearby plant and taps on it 18 times, then a wardrobe appears near them. Then she opens the wardrobe and pulls out a ton of wigs and clothes.

“Oh…oh my- what?” She gets up, laughing, “And why do you have all this?”!

“Never know what you’re gonna need.” Emi says.

“I guess.” She smiles, examining the stuff.

(I’m back and have about 30 minutes to maybe an hour.)

“With one to use…” Emi says, digging through a giant pile of wigs.

“I don’t know. Ooh, wait, are other houses allowed to be in each others dorms?”

“I don’t think so…” Emi says.

“Yeah…I don’t get why, though. I mean, the whole boys aren’t allowed in the girls dorms is at least understandable, but they just make it harder to have friends,” She frowns.

“Here.” Emi says, giving Ophelia a mirror. “We can see each other through this. Kind of like a phone if you know what a phone is.”

“No clue. But cool,” She pocketed it.

(I’m back.)

“So you’re a pure-blood?” Emi asks. She pulls out her wand again. “Accio mirror.” A mirror flies into her hand. She puts on a red wig.

“Yeah I’m pure blood. But I don’t think it makes a difference,” She watches Emi out the wig on.

“Me neither.” She says. “I was just curious since you didn’t know what a phone is. I’m a Half-blood and I think that my mom was a muggle and my dad was a pure-blood.”

“Where did you grow up? How do you know he was a wizard?” She asked tentatively. “Sorry.”
