ABANDONED. self help book from 1970s communicating with higher self

This is a book that was probably published in the 1970s; we had it in the early 80s. It included chapters on meditation for contacting and communicating with your higher self, "psychic centers" or "psychic points" throughout the body and a later chapter on astral projection. The cover was dark blue or black with white specks that looked like stars or cosmos. NOT an Edgar Cayce book or about psychic powers or ESP, per se. I believe the author was male. Any help would be appreciated!

It wasn't to do with spirit guides or supernatural or anything like that - focused more on tapping into subconscious if I remember correctly.
