I think it's more of a personal feeling, there's not a real order, you just go with the flow! I personally read ACOTAR first, then ToG, just because I was really curious about the Bat Boys. Now I'm planning to read CC!
I'd say to read read ACTOAR first than TOG than Crescent City. Definitely at least read ACTOAR before Crescent City so that the ending of CC2 makes sense.
Personally, I would read TOG, ACOTAR, and then CC. I know a ton of people that struggled getting into TOG after reading acotar.
my first go around, I read ACOTAR, then the first book of Crescent City (book 2 wasn't released yet), then finally TOG. However, if I were to recommend anything now, I'd say do either ACOTAR or TOG first, then crescent city last. There's a major cliffhanger in the second crescent city book that you won't want to read before reading the other two series.

ACOTAR or TOG first, then CC. Like the others said above, CC2 HAS to be read last. You cannot read CC before the other two series because it just won't make sense by the end of CC2.
I know this post is a bit old but…. I would say, ACOTAR, then TOG, then CC. I feel like ACOTAR was really great, and I felt like nothing would get me over it. Until I then read TOG. Now as I think on it, I’m glad it happened that way bc I don’t think ACOTAR would have satisfied this huge hole in my heart now that I’m done with TOG. So on to Crescent city to see if it fills this MAAS hole in my heart lol. 😂 yes I’m exaggerating… or am I ? No matter what though, whether you start with ACOTAR OR TOG they will both leave you in awe of what this writer can do with her words and these worlds. They will both suck you into the MAAS universe and it’s a great place to be 🤷🏼♀️😘 happy reading!
