I can’t resist to books like that😭

Christina | 29 comments Normally, I dislike the trope where the ugly, quiet, fat girl is bullied and then she disappears and gets pretty and forms a backbone. Then she comes back to her hometown and everyone loves her because she’s skinny and pretty and they don’t recognize her from before. She puts them in their place, blah blah blah. I’ve always disliked that trope but I was in a terrible reading slump and I picked up a book (can’t remember what it was called now 🤦🏼‍♀️) and it had that trope but I *LOVED* it!! I really wish I could remember what it was called because I’d love to read it again. That’s what I get for not logging it in my GR 😭😅

Sarah Ellison | 4 comments I'm currently reading The Twins Of Auschwitz at the moment, it's very fast pace but very sad at the same time.. Love reading books based on history ❤️

Aleeza K | 47 comments King of wrath took me out of a miny slump.
my favorite trope is arranged marriage trope or a good friends to lovers/bodyguard romance/rich girl poor guy/office romance. :)

I would recommend Archer's Voice, twisted series and king of wrath and pride

Sydney Moss (sydneymoss) Doing a reread of all of Cassandra Clare's shadowhunter books pulled me out of a huge reading slump!
My favorite trope is enemies to lovers, but I also love a good slow burn :)

Jordanna (jordannabubar) | 63 comments Honestly, Psycho Shifters (Cruel Shifterverse) got me out of a slump after ACOTAR. It's like a spicy fever dream but you need to push through because the 4th and 5th books are the best.

Sora | 3 comments I like heartwarming and light heart reading the best. It easy to read and it doesnt feel heavy. Some humour would be really helpful. So I know, not everyone had heard of this but try this one out Dear Henry, Love Edith
I just like how funny the whole town isssss
