Unlimited. Here is what I think I remember correctly: There is a world where 2 vampire kingdoms are divided by the ocean. A few lords are sent to spy on the evil vampire King by their queen who they are wholly loyal to. (Their queen always wears a mask so very few knows she’s a woman instead of a man) They see the King taking blood from who they believe is a human blood slave but they all feel something is different about her and they can’t stand to leave her behind. A man approaches them about saving the woman saying he will help as long as his family can come along because the King would kill them. I think they are traveling by boat when she ends up feeding on one of them when offered which makes us realize she’s not human. I know the queen accepts her and knows what is different about her. I believe her eyes turn gold but I could be wrong about the color. I know the humans are treated well instead of as slaves on the queens island and one scene is her exploring all the markets. Eventually the queen calls an assembly and removes her mask stating it’s time to fight back against the vampire king across the ocean and free his slaves. After she removes her mask someone from the crowd attacks and beheads her. The former blood slave/rescued vampire becomes the new queen (I think she has powers) and leads them all to kill the vampire king. I know one scene is them lighting the kings boats on fire, one scene is her choosing the new leader, the man who protected her from the vampire king and helped rescuer her and his family. They end up bringing some kids back to their island. Many years down the road I believe their kids fall for each other.
