What is the weakness "fixing" mindset?

We constantly live in this “fixing things” kind of environment, where we are trying to get better at our weaknesses and end up making our weaknesses the center of our lives. This only invites negativity, low self-confidence, and a feeling of insufficiency.

What if we think of these weaknesses, not as our failures but as someone else’s dharma/responsibility/gift? What if we put all the energy, time, and resources into discovering and building our strengths?
What if while we are on this journey of getting better at our strengths, find something we love? Isn’t that so beautiful?
