Typhon was known as the “Father of All Monsters.” He was birthed from Gaia (the earth) and Tartarus (the depths of hell). He was said to have been the most ferocious creature ever to roam the earth. Typhon was massive.
Just dodge what needs dodging, focus his legs with your strongest attacks, and you'll be just fine.
1. Read a book where the MC is a huge guy physically
2. Read a book with legs on the cover
3. Read a book with a nasty (your interpretation) villain.
4. Read a book that with "enormous" in the text
Books must be read for this Bonus Monster and checked in before continuing with your regular monsters!
You have until Monday, October 23rd 11:59 pm (Your time
Namita, your Japanese Jorogumo spider demon folklore thingy is creepy. Spider transforms into a woman to lure men by asking them to marry her or asking for help for her baby. Baby turns into a sac full of fire-breathing spiders.

Pontianak is the dangerous spirit of a woman which is from Malay and Indonesian mythology. They are women who died during childbirth, and are also known as vampiric ghosts. They are active at night, while during the day, the Pontianak spirit resides inside banana trees.
To fend off a Pontianak you must plunge a nail into her neck. It is said as long as the nail is there, she will become a good wife, until the nail is removed.
1. Read a book with a woman on the cover, Or
2. Read a book with the letters of NAIL in the title, Or
3. Read a book with a female ghost
4. Read a book with "iron" in the text

I am well over halfway and then I was taken down by a vaccine again. The side effects get me every time. I am starting to feel a little better so I hope to finish it tomorrow.

A Gorgon is a magical monster originating from Greek mythology and has existed in the earliest examples of Greek literature. This malevolent creature appears to be a female humanoid, but where human women have hair growing from their heads, Gorgons instead have living, writhing, venomous snakes growing from their scalps.
The best way to take a gorgon on is to wear a blindfold, equip decent armor, use a powerful sword, and take her on. In addition to this, it is recommended that one should bring many buckets of milk, should they get poisoned by her attacks.
1. Read a book with the word "Milk" in the text
2. Read a book with an MPG of Mythology
3. Read a book with 3 sisters.
4. Read a book where a character is poisoned
Challenge ends November 30th

Hope that was okay

That just leaves Banshee. I think that might be easiest to read a book with a Banshee in it? Gold weapons aren't common since it's crap metal for that purpose.
Anyone have a Banshee book?

I can see if I can get ahold of Jackaby
Was there a reason you wanted to know when I would finish my Gorgon book? I just finished it. Should I check us in or am I waiting for something?

I did. I took my time and rotated between audio (which I rarely do) and the ebook. It took longer doing it that way but I enjoyed it.

Lexi, I just finished one that has bullets in it though if you need to tap out for Leviathan Wakes. Not sure how far you are into the book.

Well, I found a banshee book. It has a banshee in it. Not a very high page count but I can read it quickly and it is on KU. Only 227 pages.
