Freddie Pilkington-Soames is a gentleman who also writes for a newspaper. When a fellow noble drops dead after a dinner, it turns out everyone had a reason to get rid of him. Freddie and his friends and family are all suspects, so he needs to solve the mystery before the police do. This was short and an easy read. The model for a 1920’s gentleman detective is Lord Peter Wimsey, my literary crush, and nobody can compare .
