I'm a fairly new Librarian (approx. one year experience) and I noticed that some Librarians are able to set books in 'deleted status' (resulting from bad bot operations) back to public again.
When I search on the ISBN (or ASIN), I get no results so I'm unable to see the relative book page nor its change log.
Am I missing something or is this action reserved to SuperLibrarians (and GR Experts)?
When you get no results, continue to manually add a new book. Move the ASIN or ISBN to the appropriate field and hit enter as if you were saving the record. It won't save it without a title and author but it will give you a notification that will include a link to the deleted record.
Thank you. You previously advised me in another thread that when I got that message I could click on the link and change the book to public. But I was frustrated by going to the bother of filling out the record only to find it was already in the system. I didn't realize the shortcut of putting in just the ISBN or ASIN to see if it was there. That its a great tip!
