I had to miss this....what was the reason that Hollis ended things with jack?
I finished yesterday and I feel like this point was never very clear and the day later I am thinking about the lose ends/holes and maybe the book wasn't as good as I originally felt...

I think if memory serves me correct, she left and went to a different college than what the 4 all had agreed to attend.
There wasn't much clarity on that- seemed like parting from what connected her to her "Nantucket/high school life" to her "college/adult life", such as her distance from Tatum/ new friendship with Druann
