Hello Kenna, hope you're doing well. I've never read 'The way I used to be' but I see that it talks a lot about trauma. Well, I'm launching my first book next month and most of the content are directly or indirectly associated with trauma, and there's a chapter ddicated only to it.

The book is called 'Mental Health Puzzle Cracked: Opposing Pathways', and I'm looking for ARC readers, if you'd like to receive a free copy of it and in exchange for your feedback on Amazon, please visit the following link where you can find more information about the book: https://dl.bookfunnel.com/96nb4egm5p

The book is written in a way that it talks to the reader, instead of dictating things or making it seem like the book has all the answers and the readers none... I hope you take the interest, enjoy it and help me share with others :)

Take care!

Rodrigo

Simon Harper | 8 comments Hello Kenna,

A bit of a plug for my book - Breaking Bad Patterns: 60 Ways to Free Yourself from a Life Stuck on Repeat - out now on Amazon - UK and international.

Why do I think it may help? I am a Cognitive Behavioural Psychotherapist and I have spent my life overcoming being bullied in childhood. It took my decades to understand why I was trapped in repetitive, negative patterns.

My book took me 7 years to write and so far the feedback is that it is helping a lot of people. I want young people especially to learn how to break free of negative patterns, before they become deeply ingrained.

If you do buy my book and have any questions, I am open to messages here.

All the best
Simon
Ps - just seen your post was July 2023!

Lily Clarke | 3 comments Hi everyone!
I recommend any of Kathleen Glasgow’s stand alone books, specifically Girl in Pieces- her characters reflect different mental health issues and addiction really well. Her words are heartfelt, enticing and inspiring. Much like All The Bright Places.
