Agatha Raisin and her assistant Toni come upon a young naked man running down the roadway as they are on their way to a wedding. When they stop to help the man he states he is running from a scene of a dead body and was afraid the killer was still in the area. When they return to the area the body is no longer present. It had been laid upon an ancient sacrificial stone but now all that remains is a small puddle of water. The Raisin Detective Agency will soon find itself embroiled in a strange murder mystery involving a nudist group, witchcraft, and ice cream. Agatha herself will run afoul of the killers and a local bully businessman who warns Agatha repeatedly to stay out of his way...or else.
As usual there is a great deal of humor in this series. I think the mystery was a bit on the odd side but Agatha does get into some strange situations. I've been a fan for years.
