The right book with the correct name is already in the database.

I was searching for, but didn't find the option to remove the book. I was able to remove books before (the new page layout maybe). Maybe only super-librarians can remove books now.

The New Book Status System was launched in October 2022.

You could either set the edition status to Invalid, or, as I did, correct the author name, combine the edition, and set the status to Deleted. Regular librarians can certainly do both of these for an edition which was not shelved.
