Help! I have an ePub of my book all uploaded onto KDP with ISBN (that will be assigned an ASIN number when I publish later this year). Question: should I use a DIFFERENT ISBN number for uploading the same ePub file onto NetGalley?

Jennie Helderman (jenniehelderman) | 11 comments No. The ISBN number remains the same for that edition of your book. It's issued by Bowker (if others do ISBN I'm not aware but still only one ISBN to an edition of a book).

I have a new edition out right now, new ISBN but same for Netgalley and all else.

Amazon KDP gives its own ISBN for books. if you use their you cannot use the same ISBN for any other book or site or publisher.

If you got it from Bowker, then you can use it anywhere. Just keep this in mind.
