P.L. Tavormina Hello! I put a longer post into the 'Do we have ecofiction authors here' thread but thought a new thread might best.

I'm on day two of a five-day giveaway and sale. 4 and 5 star ratings across all four titles. On planet Turaset, our descendants have been engineered to avoid Earth's mistakes. But when one ancient man decides he'd rather be rich, he begins killing anyone who wants to keep Turaset pure.

🆓 Vengeance is FREE (normally 2.99).🆓 Politicians and activists spar over the role of regulations on Planet Turaset in this thriller/sci-fi mashup.

Seven Strengths is 99c (normally 4.99). On planet Turaset, a young woman leaves her country home and finds love and treachery in the city.

Aerovoyant is 99c (normally 4.99). When Myrta begins to see air, the fossil fuel industry wants her silenced. Can Alphonse help her expose their treachery?

Telomeric is 99c (normally 4.99). Ten years ago, Odile fought for environmental justice and it broke her. Now she wants to raise her son in peace. But the old passion to fight is boiling up again.

❤️📚Four books for THREE bucks. ❤️📚

The books look intriguing. I'd love to read one but my eyes hurt when I read so I'm reduced to audio-books only. Is there an audio book of any?
I did read a little of the Amazon sample of Aerovoyant and like your writing. The cover on Aerovoyant is beautiful too.

Oh, thank you or the boost! I so appreciate the kind words.

No audiobook yet. I'm waiting to finish the trilogy before hiring a voice actor to do all three novels. I expect that'll be in about a year.

it's an expensive project especially if you have to hire voice actors. Are you yourself an expressive reader-aloud? If so maybe consider doing the reading yourself. Readers like to think that the person who wrote the story is the same person they are now listening to. I love it when that happens.
But you have to be skilled at it. Some writers are not. Writers who have been teachers are often good at it, if they've practiced reading to their classes often enough.
And these days it can be easy and cheap to get equipment good enough to do the job at home. If you live in a quiet location, you can create a home recording studio at minimal cost and the right microphones and headphones you need are not that expensive. Plenty of good advice online. You could probably get the absolute best gear at a fraction of the cost of paying voice actors.

P.L. Tavormina Hi Tui!

I am just now seeing this post. Your advice is fantastic. My niece asked if she could help out, and my sister in law performs lots of vocal stuff. Spoken word, song.

You make a really good point about how different things are now than a few years ago. Perhaps by 2026, when I expect to be done with the trilogy, there will be really amazing tech to help out. We shall see!

In the meantime, with the school year in the US approaching, I'll shout out to educators that my novel Aerovoyant is a decent introduction, for ages 15 and up, to Earth history and atmospheric chemistry. It's based on my years at Caltech and the geology community there. It's a great deal at 4.99, 4.5 billion years of planetary processes woven into an adventure story.

Happy August, everyone.

P.L. Tavormina Hi there,

Today's the last day to download Aerovoyant for FREE. I'm delighted that eighty people have downloaded it in the past couple days. The book has sixty reviews, mostly four and five stars.

And the other titles in the series are each 99c for a few more days. All four books are from the same world and can be read in any order. Enjoy! Link below.

Be careful, as performing artists have to join Equity in many countries, and then Equity demands that you hold proper auditions and not just favour relatives.

Oh--that's very good to know. Thank you. And thank you for downloading! :) I hope something in the story strikes your fancy. :)

On my to-read list, it's a long list but I try to keep environmental themes at the top. Great cover!
