I don't understand if Evangeline is Jacks one true love then why tella made his heart beat? By reading caravel and OUABH i'm clear that jacks met evangeline after marrying tella. But how could tella made his heart beat?

But how could tella made his heart beat? And I also do think in the third book there will be some mind of physical relation between apollo and eva. Can someone actually help me with details how tell was able to beat his heart?

I have read all the books in Caraval and OUBH already. In fact i hav read the first 2 books in OUBH twice. but i still dont know the answer to that.
