Do you listen to music while reading?

I’ve been debating listening to music while reading or not. Do you guys listen to it while reading? If you do, what kind do you usually listen to? ☺️

I don’t often, I only do it if my surroundings are super noisy, but I listen to classical music! also studio ghibli movie soundtracks

I love listening to instrumental music while reading. If I try to listen to music with singing I always get too distracted.

Not while reading but I always go to spotify and search for the book's playlist while doing other things to do w the book, like making a bookmark or fantasising scenes w the characters

when I have a slump or just feeling bored it helps me to get into the book until I get a headache because of it, then turn off and hello reader mood on again.

I don’t have trouble listening to music in languages I don’t understand or music without lyrics(somehow😅)

I will listen to almost any song I can drown it out rly easily… i also love to find a song that kind of matches the book. Or if a book has a real song in it I’ll probably stop reading and listen to it with like split consciousness lol

I usually do if I'm in the mood! sometimes it's easier to feel like I'm loving a romance story if I play very sappy romantic ballads hehe
