we were liars and they both die at the end. i was SEVERELY disappointed after reading these both 😔
they both die at the end. song of achilles was ok but it was super overhyped.
the only one left by Riley sager.... it was entertaining but I don't think its a well executed mystery

The Cruel Prince trilogy. I don't know about What The River Knows by Isabel Ibanez, but that book that supposedly have The Mummy meets Death on the Nile doesn't delivered. I expect more action, mummies, some dark creatures try to conquer the world. But all I got was some cheap plot, no emotion, unromantically relay between MC and FMC. It leave a bad taste in my mouth that I kinda on a book slump after reading that.

I have to say it… Jade City. I think the politics and worldbuilding were super cool but I just did not resonate with any of the characters and didn’t love the plot. I was so disappointed coz I had heard so many amazing things about it

The Summer I turned Pretty and Red QueenSure, they were good but I thought they were SO much more. I think tiktok and stuff ruined it for me, so I didn’t like it as much. Nearly DNFed both of them, but I do not do that.
( RED QUEEN REVIEW) it was fine. At the start, I hate mare so much. In my opinion, she was a bit annoying. For Cal, I didn’t love him, as he got on my nerves quite a bit. And Maven, I liked him, sure he was normal ( SPOILER) villain trope teen aged boy, like how he betrayed them so quickly. I felt like the emotion came after h the e betrayal, as then nothing else happened. Please respect my opinion!
( THE SUMMER I TURNED PRETTY REVIEW) Did not live up to the hype. Still getting thru the second book, very very slowly. Kinda annoying FMC. Belly acts like a pick me quite a lot ( my opinionnnnn lol) , and Conrad kind of annoyed me. I liked Jeremiah though, And Susannah, and Steven. Everybody else felt… weird? I screamed at the book multiple times because of second hand embarrassment. Crazyyyy, right? I don’t know honestly what I would rate this book. Please respect my opinions, and if you liked it, I’m glad you did!!

Fourth wing. it was good and fast-paced but the romance and chemistry was NOT there. Didn’t see the hype in Xaden, I thought he was nice sometimes and great for supporting and encouraging Violet. But I felt like that was it, I probably just wasn’t the target audience for the book soooo….
You Deserve Each Other, any Elena Armas book, The Cheat Sheet, Book Lovers, Love and Other Words Love and Other Words is an amazing 4 ★ book but it's not worth the hype, like its way too overrated and Book Lovers was a bit of a disappointment. The rest I mentioned don't deserve my words.
I hated Haunting Adeline. The premise was good but Zass was just too annoying and his monolgues were stupid made no sense😓😭
(haunting adeline) - i am a dark romance enjoyer, but this book was just egregiously bad. most of the scenes are borderline SA & its just badly written. like read this on wattpad when i was 12, bad. i can enjoy a stalker romance without it sounding like the writer hasn’t learned any new words since they got out of middle school. (lightlark) - i wanted to like this one so bad because the plot sounded so interesting but man oh man it was so cliche in the worst way possible. you could see every single thing that happened coming from a mile away because the author holds your hand through the entire thing. not to mention this one is also written like a middle school child managed to get their hands on a publishing company
