Kuu (byeolnori) | 71 comments Hey! I was wondering if it would help the librarians if we delete our own (completed) topics, to "declutter" the different categories? I saw there's a lot of backlog right now which is why requests may take a while, and wondered if filtering out already-solved stuff would make it easier.

Thank you :)

Liralen | 8223 comments No. It doesn't delete the thread - it only deletes your original post. Often that leaves only the librarian's 'done' post, meaning that there's only one post left in the thread, so more librarians are likely to click on it, thinking it hasn't been done yet.

What is useful is to edit your thread title to add DONE—which I see you already do :) I believe you can also move completed add-new-book requests to this folder: https://www.goodreads.com/topic/group...

Kuu (byeolnori) | 71 comments okay great, thank you! I wasn't sure what the best way to make work easier for the librarians would be, so I thought I'd ask :)
