IMPORTANT QUESTION: if you have a kindle do you recommend getting one?

i’m a paperback girly, i love my physical books, but i was thinking do it would be beneficial to maybe try a kindle?

I have a Kindle, and I love it. I will say it's probably not worth it unless you pay for the Kindle Unlimited subscription. It's a couple of dollars a month, and you get a bunch of books included, or you can pay a discounted price for books that are not included.

do you have to buy every book you want to read on the kindle?

Yes, unless you have Kindle Unlimited. It's 10 dollars a month and I looked it up and their are over 4 million books included. Otherwise the books are a little cheaper sometimes but not on all. Most of the classics are on Kindle Unlimited and a lot of popular ones are on there too. All in all I say it is worth it. You also get the Kindle app with the Kindle.

you can also use Libby on your Kindle and get ebooks for your library on it! or just add epubs to your kindle, from your laptop/tablet

i adore my kindle <3 i didn't get the kindle unlimited subscription; instead, i downloaded books online and then sent them to my kindle

So, my stupid self, thought you meant a kindle tablet, with like those tiny screens. Cause a few months ago I upgraded from a kindle to iPad. (Best decision ever)
