Marilse De | 3 comments Sorry for the writing I'm using the translator. I've been looking for this book for 3 years and never found it; It's a period romance in which the protagonist's parents die, (the parents didn't have a love marriage, on the mother's side) she and her sister go to London, the grandmother just wants to stay with her younger sister (we think it's out of spite, but in the end we find out that she was doing it for the dead daughter who wanted to get married when she was young with the father of the romantic couple) and she moves in with him and they start to fall in love. At the beginning of the book, the story tells that the couple were married and had a son, however the wife "kidnaps" the son to ask for money from him, and the son and wife die in the shipwreck. They make a lot of reference to the protagonist's red or blonde hair throughout the book.
