his was definitely not my favourite of the series. I fond Troy too self loathing and Liam too good to be wholesome. Troy is a newly, barely out Gay man coming to terms with his sexuality and the breakdown of his marriage and being seperated from his daughter. Liam is leaving behind an abusive father and finds Sanctuary with Wally and his love of helping strays.
I did like seeing what was going on with Dakota, Wally, Haven and Philip I liked that Wally's big cat sanctuary was going strong, sad that his first Lion Schian had died.
The whole Water rights storyline seemed a bit pointless. The outcome with Troy's family and with Liam's father was a bit predictable. The series is getting a bit too clichéd

This book was amazing. I have a hard time articulating myself when I am filling out a job application or when I am interviewing. I picked up this book so I can have help with the wording of my answers to questions. It helped so much with 149 questions and examples of why these are great questions this book is amazing and it has helped me tremendously. I can't speak on if it has helped me get a job because I still don't have one.
How'd it get to be Thursday already! Will be finishing my book tonight, but it might be in the wee hours.

That's always the best!

I got really lucky with my book!

That was an interesting choice, Nika -- I didn't even think about a non-fiction option! I hope the tips work for you when it's interview time!

Review: This entry in the Vampire Academy series finds Rose searching for Dimitri to put him out of his misery after the bad ending of the previous book. She drops out of high school, travels to Russia, and meets Dimitri's family. And of course when she finds Dimitri, he wants to turn her into a Strigoi so that they can be together forever. I didn't like this one as much as books 2 & 3, but once again there was a surprise at the end! Those darn twists always leave me eager to read the next book!

I am bad at posting at the minute. I read A Bloody Good Secret yesterday. It is book 2 in a series I will get a review up soon.

Review:
Another lovely romantic entry in the Animal Magnetism series. Jill Shalvis is my favorite contemporary author for a reason - I love her humor, which is never too much. I love her characters, which are flawed but completely loveable and her storylines are never overwhelmed with too much angst. In other words, they tend to be perfect. And this one was no different.
I'm halfway through mine, but I might finish up tonight.

After the end of the first book I just had to go ahead and read the next one. After being given the order by Sig to kill her Warden Holden Secret runs away and goes to Canada to stay with her grandmother for a while. She is thrown unceremoniously back into the thick things when Sig brings her back.
She has a mystery to solve, what Holden has been accused of and how is really guilty. Secret's tangled love life gets worse and she makes a new friend in Nolan.
The ending wasn't a huge shock but certainly sets things up for the next books.

review.I think Katniss makes a lot of stupid mistakes thoughout the book and she does not listen, but I really like the writing style of the hunger games series and it had me wanting more of the series.

Review: Rose and the gang are finally graduating from St. Vlad's Academy. Rose finds out that there is a way to bring a Strigoi back to "life", so that gets her hopes up for Dimitri. The love triangle between Rose, Adrian, and Dimitri was annoying me in this book, so I was really tempted to make this my last book in the series, but once again the author surprised me with a twist and the end! So now I have to read the next book. Can't stop now! Must see how things end up!

It took a while for me to get used to the multiple POVs and the slow build of things to happen but once things started they took off. I love the slow build of his writing style and how detailed it is. I just hope it isn't as much description in the second book.

I liked this book, Rosemary's story of her life and family was an interesting and thought provoking tale. What I didn't like was the fragmented choppy style of the narrative. If I had realized that was the style before I started I probably would have avoided the book. I did manage to stick with it and I was glad I did.

One of my favourites from the series, I love Mercy and Riley.

Review: Second time around and possibly even better than the first. Mercy and Riley are an amazing couple and watching them work out their issues, which are real and not just manufactured, was amazing. Since I don't get bogged down in confusion anymore with this series, I am able to enjoy it even more. On to the next!

I switched back to the last Vampire Academy book. Still working on it. Will be finished by tomorrow morning.

Review: I will try to be vague to avoid spoilers for anyone planning to read this series. Someone has been murdered at court, and Rose is the prime suspect. Her friends break her out of her cell, and she is on the run trying to find Lissa's last-living relative to give Lissa the power to vote at court so that they can overthrow a rule that lowers the age when dhampirs must leave school and begin protecting Moroi. Secrets are revealed, old characters are revisited, and we get an answer to which love Rose ends up with. I'm glad I stuck with this series. Overall, it was pretty entertaining. I will be checking out the Bloodlines series soon!

Review What a cute little story. I thought a lot of it was drawn out and could of been shorter but I did really enjoy reading it. It was fun and it would have been quick if I hadn't been so busy!

Review:
600 pages of "a day in the life of" type story. Very typical Kristen Ashley, especially her earlier stuff. Lots of descriptions of hair and makeup and clothes and decor. Lots of Alpha men and their women running around. Lots of bitches being put in their place and douchebags getting their comeuppance. And please, why do her characters wear shirts that hook over their thumbs. I don't get it. The best part was actually the romance between 15 yr. old Clarisse and 17 yr. old Finley. Sweet and perfect. But it's still a fun way to spend some time.
