Monk's Hood by Ellis Peters (Chronicles of Brother Cadfael #3)
Finished: 11 April 2015
Rating: ****
Review:
The third book in this delightful historical mystery series brings a blast from the past for Brother Cadfael. For the first time after 4 decades, he comes face to face with the woman he once thought to marry who is staying at the abbey as a guest along with her family. The circumstances of their meeting are far from pleasant, however: Richildis's husband is murdered under the abbey's roof, poisoned with monk's hood oil from Cadfael's own stores. And her young son is the prime suspect, hunted by the sheriff who refuses to consider other possibilities. It's up to Cadfael to solve the crime and exonerate the boy. As always with this series, a quick and highly entertaining read.

Book: This Girl by Colleen Hoover
Finished: April 15, 2015
Rating: 2*
Review: I was warned ahead of time that this was boring. I thought I really loved Will and Layken but I almost didn't finish this. I just didn't feel the need for Wills POV. I adore Colleen Hoover's books so I'm not turned off by her because of this one.

The kids find themselves on the Dawn Treader und help Caspian to find the seven lost lords. Lewis picked really simple structure for this book: a set of adventures which makes it look more like a medieval novel, even more with every new situation being a test for the kids. The bad thing is that I got the impression this book is never going to end the (first two books had at least an epic conclusion). 5 stars because it made me cry :'(

I do loves me a love story ♡♡
This particular story is about Calla, she is a girl with many scars, emotionally and physically.
She is a hard working student that is working her way up to being a nurse, that is until her mother does something unspeakable, and she has to return back to her old home town to track her down.
Her friends think her mother is dead so she lies and says she is going away for a weekend.
Calla starts at the first place her drunken, druggie of a mother would be, the bar!
Here she bumps into the panty melting hotness of Jax ♡♡
Okay, so I am a fickle flake, I jump from book boyfriend to book boyfriend, I am what you would call a fictional slut, but ohhh my word Jax!!!
He has made it to the top spot of my want-to-hump-his-leg list !!
A pretty perfect 5☆ read!

(Graceling Realm, #3)
Finished: 4/16/15
Rating: 2 stars
Review: This was so slooooow. I would have DNFed it if I hadn't had to use it in multiple challenges. Granted, neither Graceling or Fire were particularly captivating, but man this story just dragged. It was too complicated and I had a hard time following the plot or figuring out where it was going. Nobody told Bitterblue anything which was frustrating to read. Other than the opening and closing few chapters, this one was a chore.

book: after daybreak
rating: 4 stars
finished: 4/17
review: im sad to finish another great vampire serires. Afrer the crazy cliffhanger of book 2 , this book 3 jumps right into the story. Dawn is still a kickass main character. i really wish she would just accept michea amd be with him, he always has her best interest in mind, and legit throws himself at vampires for her! Sin is bat shit crazy and his day walkers need to calm down and maybe go live in the mountains, the fresh air would do him good! i loved this ending and really wish there was another book (: i highly recommend this series to any vampire lovers!

I was gifted this audio book for free in exchange for a full and honest review, thank you David :○)
Okay so 1st of all the narration, it was good, not brilliant, but okay.
I could clearly distinguish the different characters and voices and I wasn't scratching my head wondering who was talking.
The book?
Hmmm I have to say that it wasn't my favourite I'm afraid, it was too young adult for me, I love YA but the tone of the book made it feel like it was a couple of very young boys, and it was they were 14, but something just didn't gel with me about the story.
Eric is a loner, a nobody, a freak, a "crazy train" the reason for this? He sees things, phantoms to be precise, he has been to a councillor for this, and because of this he is a target for bullies.
Apart from the local drunk no one believes Erik about his phantoms.
Every day he is targeted, that is until Kyle turns up, he tells the bullies where to go and they become firm friends, blood brothers!
They do the usual things that 14yr old do, play Nintendo (remember Duck Hunt?) play knock-a-door Ginger while sneaking out of their bedrooms at night, and stealing tobacco from their brothers wardrobe "just to try it"
People start to grow increasingly tired in the town and some completely disappear, and Erik is the key to the whole thing!
I would love to say that I really enjoyed it, but as I was given the book for an honest review that is what I will do.
Unfortunately I won't be reading book #2 in the series.

Review: Jill and Eustace are called back to Narnia to find prince Rilian. Some things were predictable (which didn't make the book bad), some were surprising and some were resembling the real world so good it was downright creepy. Earned 5 stars.

Stand Alone
Ugly Love
Finished: April 18th
Rating: 4.5 Stars
Review: Okay so after seeing Hoover everywhere and listening to you all praising her :D i finally took the plunge and read a book by her! I picked Ugly Love because it was a stand alone, and the one i usually hear most about. Well thanks everyone for making me ugly cry!!! This book killed me like hard!!! The only think i disliked was how all the married men were flirting with the MC and she was like "I'm all hot and above others, and this happens all the time and now i must reject yet another married man." Gag. Don't act like that, seriously.

If you loved Ugly Love then definitely read Maybe Someday, those 2 are my favourites of hers.
P.s bring kleenex x

Book: Dangerous Boys by Abigail Haas
Finished: April 23, 2015
Rating: 5*
Review: Another insane ride! When I read Dangerous Girls I knew I would never read another book like it. It will forever be one of my all time favorite books. However, I knew Abigail Haas is an incredible storyteller and this was going to be amazing as well. It was. I knew better than to try and figure it out this time...I had no clue with DG until the LAST sentence. I didn't love this one as much but I'm not disappointed. With Ms. Haas' books I don't like putting anything about the story in my review because I would hate to ruin the experience for the next reader. And it is an experience. Definitely worth reading!!!

(Stand alone)
Finished: 4/23/14
Rating: 5 stars
Review: That had me in the edge of my seat for every page! A stunning thriller, with the most unreliable of narrators - an alcoholic. I admit that I had guessed a lot of what was going on, but the writing was so groping I didn't care. I enjoyed wondering if Rachel would gain her memories from her black outs and deciding whether Anna and Megan were good or bad people. The truth is slippery in this book, but ultimately the comeuppance is very satisfying. Rachel is not always easy to like but by the end it was impossible not to cheer for her. I like to imagine her off somewhere living a full life.
So sorry guys, I was gonna get my review posted last night and then I managed to fall asleep on the couch and forget all about it until the morning. XD Here goes:

Rebellion by James McGee (Matthew Hawkwood #4)
Finished: 23 April 2015
Rating: *****
Review:
Having proven his capacity for dangerous undercover work, Bow Street Runner Matthew Hawkwood is sent to Paris on a high stakes mission so secret he will be told what it entails only upon his arrival in the French capital. Once there, he promptly finds himself embroiled in a daring, desperate plot with one ultimate goal: to overthrow Napoleon.
James McGee has done it again: Just like the three previous books in the series, this was a brilliant, gripping historical thriller read from start to finish.
