Ace walks in, finds a table at the far back, and sits down, pulling out her wand and book.

Ace flips through the book. It is not a divination book. It’s the book Hester gave her the day before. She settles on a page and her eyes follow the page, and soon she was completely emersed, looking lost in the book, as though nothing else existed.
(Sorry I had something to do.) “I hate this class.” Hester sighs.
“We’ve touched on this several times,” Ace grins, her eyes not shifting from the book.
“That we both hate divination.” Ace still doesn’t look up, and her eyes are moving fast, taking in everything.
“We’re reading tea leafs today right?” Hester asks, absentmindedly.
Ace shrugs, “Yeah. Last time I got happiness, and a sudden death in the same cup, so…” She finally looked up.
(Yeah sorry.) “So you’ll die but be happy about it?” She says, confusedly.
“Seems like it.” Ace snorted with disbelief, and picked up her cup, draining the tea from in in just a few seconds.
Hester does the same. “So you read my leaves then I read yours?” She asks.
((I have abt 20 mins))
“Yeah.” She hands over her cup.
Hester takes the cup and gives Ace hers.
Ace looks in her text book, “That looks like a sun.” She turned the cup over and over, “I think.”
“So what does that mean?” She asks.
“Happiness. And that looks like a cloud..no, it’s a blob.” Ace says, as seriously as she could without bursting into laughter.
“What does that mean?” Hester asks again, resisting the urge to laugh.
“Maybe that you’ll be eaten by a marshmallow?” Ace says, biting her cheek to stop herself from laughing, and blinking rapidly, grinning.
“Let me see.” Hester says grabbing the cup. “What does a dog mean?”
The grin slid off her face, “What..why kind of dog?” She said, her voice cracking.
“A tall, black, dark one.” Hester says.
Ace paled, “That can’t be right,” she snatched the cup from Hester, peering into it anxiously. “I mean, it’s not real. It’s stupid.” She said, though she was still pale and her hair was tinted orange.
“What?” Hester says. “Remember this is my cup. So whatever is in hear happens to me.”
“It’s..nothing. It probably doesn’t mean anything,” She looked up at her swiftly.
Hester looks at her book. “Wait is that…” Her hair starts to slowly become redder. “The grim?”
Ace but her younger nervously. “We seem to have never ending problems, don’t we?” She whispered for an answer.
“But… this is my cup…” Hester says. “And the Grim means…”
Ace nodded silently. Her hands were shaking, “But like I said, I didn’t die when it said I would, so it probably won’t matter…” she didn’t add that she hadn’t gotten the grim, and had only gotten a combination of symbols that pointed towards death. “It won’t matter.” She repeated.
Hester’s hair turned blood red. “You, you don’t think that something will… you know…”
“No. No.” She shook her head, “You’ll be fine. Nothing will happen. Just…forget about it.” She suggested weakly. ((Gtg be back in the morning))
Hester became deathly pale. “Yeah of course, yeah.” She says.
Ace tries to steady her hands and glances around.
“Do, do you think the cup is right?” Hester whispers into Ace’s ear.
Ace shakes her head slightly. “It’s just a lump of tea leaves. You’re not nervous, are you?”
((I might be gone for 5-15 mins soon but I’ll be back for sure!))
“No, no, of course not.” Hester says. But it was clear she was lying. “But, um, what do you think?”
