I'm not sure what to in this case. I was handling this request https://www.goodreads.com/topic/show/...

I believe the author is right and the other ASIN is incorrect. It was not added by the bot and the ASIN numbers are similar but not quite, possibly typos? Should they contact support so they delete or can we [librarians] merge? They want to conserve the rating. The edition that has the rating is the incorrect ASIN.

I wish authors weren't able to add other people's books. They almost always make mistakes. I do believe the ASIN was added incorrectly (as was the author name).

I agree. Same with editing their own name. They rarely follow policy.
