Absolutely, yes!You can read the series and be done with, there's no need to read other books before that.
Anyway, I highly suggest you read the other Maas's series too, you won't be disappointed!
Yes 100%!! My first Maas series was ACOTAR and I thought that worked out well for me :) no need to read anything prior for any of the series, but if you want a reading order I'd go either TOG/ACOTAR first and then Crescent City.
are the books in ACOTAR also standalone? like can you just read court of roses and thorns and be done with it? or do you HAVE to read the series
It's better to read all the series
in regards to your second question, the rest of the series is so much more exciting and interesting than the first book, so while u could stop after the first one, u would definitelyyy be missing out on the rest lol
you should totally read the rest of the series. they're all really good
