Afraid to proceed with Hunting Adeline.

The author described the warnings in the first page and I'm second guessing if i should read this book or nah. The first book wasn't dark except the gun scene. For me at least. So.... Is the second book really that dark?

Apparently there is a graphic SA scene…I haven’t read the second yet but I’ve watched reviews where people have had to put it down and come back to it because it was unnecessarily detailed.

How far along are you in the book? I’m on chapter 12 and there’s only been one bad things and as the other person said SA. I obviously haven’t finished the book but i’m going to keep reading it but if you want to talk about it we can or I can let you know how I felt when I finish it. The overall book is going to be sad from all the things that happen to Addie as I have seen other people say.

I DNFd the second book. Because i hate how writers write about being targeted, kidnapped, sold & trafficked. So yes it’s that bad.
