I've been wanting Finn's book for a while now and I am so glad that I finally got to read it. I adored him with Winter. I really liked the interesting question that this book posed. You don't often see the dating of someone else's ex come into question...especially not a sister's ex. I cannot wait for the next book in the Woodlands series. Adam...or Mal...doesn't matter to me. I love them all!

Review: Colleen Hoover is one of my favorite authors. Every book she writes is not just your ordinary romentic story, it's deep, dark and though-provocing. From all of her books I think this is her least darkest book but my heart broke a thousand times while reading it for the characters.
Usually where one of the main characters has a boyfriend/girlfriend we hate them. However, in this one I loved every single character... well maybe not the cheating bastard and the roomate. I didn't if I should root for Ridge and Maggie to brake up or I was supporting them. One of the main things I liked is how Ridge and Sydney tried to control their emotions and actions to not hurt Maggie, no matter how devastating it was to watch them not be with each other.
It was so intriguing to read a book where one of the main protagonist is deaf. It was made really well and I loved how when Sydney found out she didn't act stupid or like an asshole. I loved how he showed her how he could feel the sound and then when he wanted to listen to her voice, I thought I would melt of all the cute moments they had with each other.
One of my favorite scenes has to be at the end when he was waiting for her to say the word and she signed it and he was speaking... and I was a poodle of emotions on the floor.

I am really enjoying this series. This is quickly becoming one of my favorites. Ty and Zane have feelings as partners and as lovers. This book is gripping, action packed, and filled with suspenseful moments. I love the banter between the two while texting at work. It is apparent that they both care deeply for the other. However, on the flip side, Ty is distracted by a female EMT as well as still has feelings for his ex. girlfriend and her 8 year old daughter. If Ty has actually fallen for Zane, he would not have any type of reaction for a female. The ending was also frustrating and left me asking too many questions. This isn’t really a bad thing since now I have to read the next installment in the series!

Paris (pah13) | 4285 comments So ladies here is a heads up about tomorrow. I am going to be away from home 95% of the day. We are heading to see my grandma in the hospital, then to my baby cousin's birthday party and then I have to babysit my friends kid. So I'm going to do my best to finish my book and post my review tomorrow night. However, it likely will not be finished and posted before the time we can roll. So please do not wait up for it.

This is a really emotional book and I loved it. I couldn't quite give it 5 stars because the setup slightly strains credulity but the story is just great. The premise is sad, we start with Theo who lost his partner a year ago and is just returning to the world. There are lots of flashbacks to the prior relationship and it helps to ground the book. In romance novels you always read the fantasy and not the day to day struggles but those are presented here and add dimension to all of the relationships. Morgan's story is slightly over done but these two coming together just works perfectly.

I absolutely love the Marked Men series. I like Rowdy, but he's never been at the top of my list of the guys. This story made me really appreciate him and like him even more than I did before. And Salem...I adored Salem. She is feisty and strong and perfect for not only Rowdy, but for the Marked Men gang.

A lot of other things happen in this book. New characters are introduced, new things happen for some of my favorites. The story also begins in this book for Royal and Asa. I cannot wait to see how those two get along. I waited too long to read Rowdy, but I know that I won't hesitate when it comes time to re-read it.

Review: Going into this book I was a little sceptic because it sounded like every other dystopian world but it surprised me pleasantly. There were some boring parts of course but it was a quick fun read. I want to know how it all happened and why. There were trying to find out in this book but they got nowhere.
I liked all the characters. However the main character was annoying as hell half the time. I kept imagining Theo James in the place of Fade because he sounded like Four from Divergent.
I liked how they found people who lived past 25 and I like to know why they get so old so fast.
Overall, I liked. It wasn't anything special and I will read the next books but I don't think it will be soon.

I liked this well enough, there just wasn't anything exciting about it. It's well written although the scenes of Ethan sitting on Alice's bed strained credulity given the historical time period. I was a bit lost at first but that's my fault because it was a Book #3. I could see why these two liked each other and I liked the way their relationship developed but there were a lot of side plots and ultimately I didn't feel much when it was over.

This is book 5 in the Cut & Run series. It is also the sequel to Divide & Conquer. If you haven’t read book 4, you will definitely need to before you rea d this one. Thank goodness this book answered all of my unanswered questions from Divide & Conquer. The relationship and love between Ty and Zane has definitely come full circle – about time! The denial and hiding of their relationship has progressed to more than just partners at work. The plot is extremely strong and is fast paced. Ty has been recruited to bring in an informant – Julian. Surprisingly, I loved Julian! Normally, I always know early on who the villain is in a book. Well, not this time. I kept guessing until the end.

I love suspense and this one held me riveted to my chair! I can’t wait for the next installment!

I've really enjoyed this series so far and I was looking forward to seeing Lizbeth get a heavily ever after. Although she wasn't my favorite character, I did think that she deserved to find happiness.

I liked the way this book played out and the storyline was pretty interesting, but it all happened so fast. Considering some of the things that happen, the wrapping up of those situations were just too quick. I don't like super long and drawn out books, but I needed a little more to really get to know Lizbeth and Logan and the other cast members.

I'm still very interested in a book featuring Lucas. He keeps popping up and I'm intrigued by him. I hope that when we get to him, that it won't be as quick as this one. The writing was still great in this book and I still look forward to reading more by Alannah Lynne!

Overall this was a very good book, but there were just a few things that lowered my rating. I liked the story of Galen and Nick and I liked the whole idea of the mythology and the ancient curse. I just felt there were parts that were a little confusing and not fully worked through. And the book was a little repetitive about 70% through. I didn't mind the "miscommunication" plot although again I felt the execution of it was a bit off so it was just more confusing and not totally realistic. But it was an entertaining book, just not perfect.

Review:I thought it was a fun, quick read and I was surprised, but glad, that it was only one book. The characters were funny, the plot was interesting and the writing was really good. There were some minor things that I didn't like but the good far outweight the bad.

For me this title is misleading, and I’m really glad. I have been putting this book off since I assumed that it dealt with Martians, life on Mars, and NASA mumbo jumbo. I was so wrong! I really enjoyed this book and loved the narrator. I read very few science fiction books, but the science fiction was more factual than some off the wall fantasy scene. The setting was Mars, and the main character, Mark Watney, was humorous so as not to dwell on his current situation, which was being left behind and stuck on Mars. Mark used his entire astronaut training in order to survive.

There were several quotes in this book that really stood out. One of my favorites is “They say once you grow crops somewhere, you have officially ‘colonized’ it. So technically, I colonized Mars."

In your face, Neil Armstrong!” This book is scheduled to become a movie. I bet it will be a hit! I highly recommend this one!

Review: I liked it. It was a quick fun read with some dark elements. I liked how we could see the family history and all those stories/legends and why this family was 'cursed'. My favorite of them has to be with the teacher and the seller of onions and just how she asked him to fix her school and then her heart... aww. Anyway, I liked Stanley and Zero's relationship. The other boys were super mean and didn't really care what happened to Stanley especially that time with the sunflower seeds. My favorite scene has to be the end where evrything is out in the open and we have sort of a happy ending.

This 5th book in the Vampires in America series focuses on my favorite secondary character, Duncan. I have been looking forward to his book since he was introduced as Raphael’s right hand man in book 1. Duncan had a choice to make and although slightly sad was the best for him. Duncan became a territory lord by defending Victor, who was the corrupt vampire lord in the Washington DC area. In order to be crowed as the new territory lord, Duncan had to leave Raphael’s service after over 150 years of protecting and defending Raphael. Of course, the HEA couldn’t be complete without a mate and Duncan’s is now Emma. The couple reminds me of Raphael in Cyn’s relationship.

I love when characters have a past together and their relationship is a little bit forbidden. Perfect.
