I am looking forward to getting to know all of you!

I'll try to come up with some names, but I'm not usually all that great at it.
I keep thinking of 1 Team to Win It All.

You are definitely up for challenge then!

Fire Breathing Rubber Duckies
Silent Assassins

Paris, thanks for reaching out, I had kinda forgotten about all of this with all that's going on this week xD
I'm Bouchra, 21, and I'm a freelance translator. I'm crazy about books but have been neglecting them lately while pursuing other "interests" (aka spending all my free time on Facebook). This is my third (I believe, I'm not sure) time participating in SSS, but my first I'm doing both SSS and SS.
I like the name 1 Team to Win it All
I also suggest One, Two, Tackle Your TBR
Or Word-Eating Bunnies (or any other animal you guys think is better suited)
I look forward to seeing what we choose for a name :)

I like to have names that have our team # in it. Otherwise, I am good with anything.
After Friday, I will have one less obligation. I am defending my final dissertation for my doctorate. I will be glad when this is behind me, and I don't have to work around reading textbooks and references!

I like being Team #1, it bodes well!!
And I also like Team names with the Team # in it
Paris, it is great that you are willing to be captain, thank you!
Debbie, good luck on your dissertation!! Wow, that's an amazing accomplishment.

Good luck with your dissertation Debbie. That's such a huge deal.
Does anyone else have any team name suggestions with the team number in it?

Heh, yes Paris. I will probably get confused because of it!
I am so happy we are starting! We need a good name here, too!

I knew I was going to hate Leah. She is a despicable, horrible human being and this book just brought all of that out even more. I don’t know how anyone could like her. I don’t know how Caleb married her and stayed married to her. That’s some ridiculously strong guilt he’s got. I always felt like she was the worst of the three of them; that her sins were miles above Olivia and Caleb’s. That did not change when I read this book. I almost couldn’t read this. I almost had to put it down because she’s so horrible and Caleb is so stupid, but I knew I had to keep going and ultimately, I’m glad I did.

Review: I liked it. It wasn't as good as I remembered it but still good. I had a hard time catching up to what was happening and because of that there were some times where I was bored. One thing that really bothers me is how repetitive this series is. Every book there is a new love interest for the main character or an old one comes back, Nef. is up to no good and Zoye has to save them all. It's always the same.
Overall, I really liked it and will finish the series.

This is my least favorite book of the series. I disliked Ava and hated Luke. What is it with all of these alpha men who make demands on the Rock Chicks. If they don’t comply, they simply handcuff them . I just didn't see the chemistry between Ava and Luke.
I can’t figure out why Luke never wanted anything to do with Ava. After eight years, all of a sudden he saw her and had to have her. This is the first book where the major characters are pretty much non-existent. I have liked this series so far and hope that the next book picks up.

I think I have another 6 hours or so till the deadline, right?

3.5 stars rounded up to 4. I loved Bobby in the previous books in this series and it was great to get his story. The writing is great, as usual for Rhys Ford. I am glad we saw all the characters from the Cole/Jae stories, Claudia, Scarlet even Mike. Ichi is fine and he and Bobby certainly do seem to have a "thing". My only issue with this story is that there isn't much going on other than what we already saw in the Cole books. Sure we get back stories for Bobby and Ichi, and they're interesting and well told, but as the book wound to its inevitable conclusion I wasn't ever completely involved. I hope there are more stories about this crew though!

I read the first book in the series a long time ago and it took me awhile to remember the main character of Tim. I like the shifter world the author has created here and we get to see a lot of the Military Wolves and Noah and Lucas from Book #1. The scenes between the MCs are scorching although there were too many of them. There is a real story here and I was interested until about 3/4 of the way through and then I just was looking for it to end. I felt like the beginning of the relationship built well but then the whole concept of Jeremy being "trained" or "learning" just evaporated a little... and I am not sure if I care about Book #3. It might be awhile before I get to that one...

This is book #9 in the Lucky Harbor series. Bad girl Aubrey is attempting to right her wrongs from high school. Ben has just returned to Lucky Harbor after spending five years in war torn areas of the world. Ben’s wife died five years ago, and he has vowed to never have another relationship. Aubrey had a major crush on Ben years ago but now wants nothing to do with him. However, Ben was hired by Aubrey’s uncle to help with the opening of her new bookstore.
The majority of the book centers on Aubrey’s childhood and who she needs to mark off of her list. Ted is included as a minor role although a major event occurs that requires Aubrey to reflect even more on her past. Many of the main characters are absent in this book. If I am ever down or need an easy read, I can always count on Ms. Shalvis to bring me back up. Lucky Harbor has some very fortunate residents!

I freaking loved this book. I’ve been dying to read it for a while now and Hadley has been fueling the fire with teasers and choosing a breathtaking cover model. Finally, when the book was finally in my hot little hands, life kept getting in the way. I didn’t want to put the book down, I even took my Kindle shopping with me so I could read during the down times or in the car. This book was everything I had wanted and more. Of course, it did help that I had a very vivid, very sexy picture of Cole in my mind throughout the book. I really enjoyed the way this book played out. There were two stories that needed to be told, one showcasing how awesome of an investigator Cole is, the other showing Cole trying to find the answers to his past and his future.
There are some really heart wrenching moments in this book. Some moments that made me tear up a little and want to give Cole a big hug. I also felt for poor Leah. She was handed a pretty crappy deal as well, but she stayed strong. There were also some hilarious laugh out loud moments. When Van and Cole get together, there was a lot of tension at times while they tried to figure out what was going on with Leah, but holy crap are those two funny together. Their banter is the kind of back and forth I have with my close friends.
The suspense was high throughout the entire book and I was constantly on the edge of my seat. I thought I had things figured out and then it turned out I was wrong. I love that, especially since it rarely happens. I loved seeing Van and Dani and Mickey and Cody. I hope there are more Block books and that we get to see them all again.
When it comes to Cole’s happily ever after, I loved every second of it. I was thrown as to which direction he was going to go in, but where he ended up was exactly what I wanted for him. I absolutely adore the girl (I don’t want to spoil it for anyone who hasn’t read the book). She’s perfect for Cole. It was great to see someone get behind those walls of his and get into his heart.
I can’t gush enough about this book. Hadley Quinn has proved once again why she is one of my favorite authors.

Review: Thank God I finally started this series. I've been putting it off for months now. It easily became one of my favorite angels and demons series. I loved all the characters and the writing style. The plot wasn't as predictable as other books. The main characters wasn't anoying and made smart decisions. I loved the relationship between Kai and Anna. However Kope made his way in my heart too. I have a tendency to love the guy that doesn't win and it's like that in every book.
One of my favorite scenes has to be when her dad got out of jail and the group was at a party and suddenly everybody got quiet. Or when Belial found out that his daughter traveled with the son of the Duke of Lust... hilarious.
Overall, I really liked this book and the writing style.
