Please read Librarian Notes when a book has one (they are visible on the combine page), as it looks like the graphic novel adaptations are now combined with the regular book.

Dear Arenda,
I came across the not-to-be-combined-graphic novel which was already combined with several others and intended trying to separate it when the combine-action was complete. But how do I find this one?

Arenda | 26447 comments I think/hope I managed to separate all graphic novel adaptations:

Original book:

The graphic novel editions:
https://www.goodreads.com/work/editio...

I've added Librarian Notes to the adaptations that didn't have one yet.

Lettie | 833 comments Oops- I wasn’t aware of the fact that they are all graphic novels; how should I have seen this (still learning)?

Thank you for separating, Arenda!

Arenda | 26447 comments Only some of them had a Librarian Note. And with the many Librarian Notes about re-used isbn's that are automatically added, it can be hard to find the Librarian Notes with important information.

To complicate matters further, due to some dodgy imports from Amazon, among the graphic novel editions were also editions of the graphic novel that had Neil Gaiman as primary author, instead of P. Craig Russell, who is the adapter. Adaptations should be listed with the adapter as primary author.
This was also the reason why the novel and the graphic novel were both showing on the combine page of Neil Gaiman.

I hope this helps.
When there is a large(r) group of editions that are not combined, it is worth to pay extra attention and check the editions, not just the combine page.
