The Amazon listing states that the book does not have the cover as shown, we cannot use that as an image source.

Amazon states there is no Dust Jacket where there obviously is. I purchased this 1957 Landmark Book published by Random House from Ebay. It's Dust Jacket is identical to that depicted by Amazon. Buffalo BilI, Annie Oakley, and Chief Sitting Bull are depicted. In the upper right hand corner is a designation that this is Book #73 in this American History series. I recognize you can't use Ebay as a image source but Amazon is actually referring to a Cover and not a Dust Jacket.

Hi Scott, note that the GR listing gives ISBN, library binding, and publication year of 2000. There is further work to be done if you believe it is an incorrect listing for the 1957 edition.

OMG! I have the 1957 edition right in front of me. It has the same jacket cover as depicted on Amazon and the one depicted in Goodreads supposed 1970 edition. I say supposed since Worldcat does not recognize either of the ISBN numbers cited in the Goodreads reference.

I understand that you cannot use Thrift Books as a source but you can see the jacket cover for the 1957 edition is also the same as I have requested:

Hi Ted,
Your own copy is a good source for information in 1957 edition.
The problem is that, as far as I can tell, we don't yet have a Goodreads listing for that edition. The cover has erroneously been added to a 2000 edition with library binding.
If there never was a 2000 edition and the ISBN is incorrect that is another matter to be dealt with in other ways.

Bad design strikes again. The edition date should be more prominent IMO which is why I looked at that. I have removed the cover again.
