Great job, Marilyn!

PS I am sorry, I didn't see your thread earlier.

Daniela Sorgente | 66 comments I recently bought two books of Angela Thirkell's Barsetshire series, Wild Strawberries (#2) and Summer Half (#5). Do someone know if they are to be read in order?
(Let's see how many of you will be able to read this post, with the new rules about notifications 😔)

There are some recurring characters, and it is nice to see them pop up in later books, but the books all stand in their own right.

I agree with Sonia.

I liked the moments when I met known characters when I read a few books in a row. But after longer break, when I forgot many of them it was still an enjoyable reading.

Just one remark: a couple who fell in love in a previous part would be a married couple in one of the next ones. One could think of it as a spoiler ;-)
