I thought I Want My Hat Back was very well written for younger children. It is so simple yet makes kids happy and excited that they can read all the way through it. Some thought the ending was a little to violent inferring that the bear ate the rabbit, but I thought it was genius and okay for children to read. The illustrations in this book were so simple as well but were so fun and enjoyable to look at! it was filled with texture and layering and were illustrations that I have never seen before.
