hows everyone's reading going?? also to those who celebrate/recognize, happy belated Canada day, and happy 4th of July!
I took today off from reading to enjoy the festivities but it was a fun break. Otherwise enjoying several good books! Happy 4th to those the celebrate. To our European friends sorry we have traitorous ancestors 😆 and I hope everyone had a great day regardless.
Zoned out too much today and only got 2 books done, hoping for a high roll to make up for it 🤞

I'm hopefully on finishing a book today.
I'm a book behind my personal goal for the month but I'm gonna try to knock out some short audio books this week to hopefully get ahead of it!

I'm also a bit slower than what I hopedd for, but finishing "book lovers" by emily henry today hopefully, and listing to a audiobook while at work lol

yah think I might, but there is a buddy read for it so was trying to get some extra points since my manga doesn't add a lot.

Every point counts, so just read what you want. Don't push yourself though something you aren't enjoying.
Plus those manga can add up fast, with how many you have posted. When I look at the points you've brought to the team, I think it is amazing!
I just finished a quick manga myself (posting shortly) and am otherwise working on a few BRs that will bring in a chunk of points. I also am almost finished with an audiobook. I didn't have the chance to read much over the weekend, so hoping to get a lot in during the week!

damn that was a great roll today, ugh I feel bad for not getting any reading done yesterday, could have been huge points.
finished 2 books yestarday adding them now!
My best friend invited me to a 24 hour reading marathon, hoping I'll read at least 6 small books or 2 big ones

being able to add fanfics saves my ass most of the time LOL, it makes life easier, i'm rereading all the young dudes, thats like 1K of pages

I think I can add 3 more books the coming weeks. It's my last week at work and then 3 weeks off.
We are doing great on reading, but dang, out bonus spins are not so lucky. Fingers crossed we start getting some good ones. I am tentatively planning on doing a 24 hr readathon this next weekend but still pending a few things. This heat wave is slowing down my concentration. My brain wants to mimic my body and become useless mush but I'm still trying to get through what I can.

we had some bad storms last night. hailed for awhile, good size hail too, dropped 20 degrees afterwards! been hyper-fixacting on video games so haven't gotten any reading done, but I'll get some done today for sure

it's winter where I live so I cant complain about the weather hahahahaha tropical winter doesn't go below 32 F!!I'm doing another readathon on saturday or sunday so we'll see how that goes, im uploading my all the young dudes review later today
Okay, I posted a couple fanfic that I read earlier this month. I can see myself tumbling down some rabbit holes for those from now on... @Brooke, I see you started and liked the first vol of Otomen. I hope you continue to enjoy the series. I have the final 2 volumes at hold at my library and hope to read them this weekend.

I'll have to keep an eye out for your thoughts as you progress thought the series. Some volumes are better than others but overall, I have enjoyed it quite a bit.
heyyyy doing my last readathon of the month saturday, do yall think more smaller book or fewer longer books? what would helps us win more? (I'm very competitve as yall might've seen)
Well, if there is an edition of 600+ pages, we get the 12 point Hermione point bonus which is nice, but if they are just 350-599 I would go shorter unless they are buddy reads. Honestly though, read whatever you want. I've learned most people read more and read faster when they read things they can enjoy the most in the moment. Have a great time! I'll be doing a readathon as well this weekend.

I went and saw Barbie and Oppenheimer last night, recommend both but now I'm reading the book they used for research/inspiration, and it's over 1000pgs, gonna try to get it done by Sunday night
