SOLVED. Adult MMF to MM Romance, "Gay For You" book, main characters are Gavin and Lex. [s]

I know I found this on a Gay For You Listopia maybe five or six years back and now I have lost complete track of it.

I'm almost certain on those main character names though Gavin is regularly referred to as "Doc" by Lex, an affectionate nickname and his profession. Lex is a police officer. They end up in a M/M/F threesome with a friend of Lex's - a first for Gavin.- and Gavin ends the night feeling like he didn't perform well because Lex's presence threw him off and, since it continues to bother him, he eventually requests a do-over, which Lex grants.

Things go well and they end up having semi-regular threesomes until Lex starts to catch feelings and tells the Doc they can't go to bed together anymore but they can still be friends. He starts distancing himself from Gavin and only inviting him out in a group, if at all. It makes Gavin miserable and it doesn't take him long after to that to realize he's in love with Lex.

Some bullet points of things I only ~kind of remember:

• Gavin has an ex-wife who is mentally unstable and after smearing his house with excrement (Lex takes the report in his capacity as a police officer), she then tries to burn it down
• Lex lives with his grandmother
• Gavin's parents are homophobic and try (and nearly succeed) in breaking he and Lex up by claiming they'll support the relationship if Gavin takes some time away from Lex and proves he isn't just dick-drunk (they use, like, different words there, lol)
• Gavin has a Fourth of July(maybe?) party and invites Lex. He gets steered away by a handsy coworker (?) and she traps him in his bedroom and forcibly tries to give him a handjob. Gavin escapes back to Lex and glues himself to his side and when he later tells Lex what happens, Lex tells him he was assaulted and asks if he wants to report it

This is the part I'm least sure of: the cover maybe had fireworks on it and was, I think, magenta and teal but take allll of that with a grain of salt. 😂
