Hello!

I am Jaya, a neuroscientist and educator with over 15 years of research experience in studying how brains work. I am thrilled to share with you that I've just released my first book, that I've written and illustrated, through which I share my love for brains, evolution and the natural world.
Drawing from contemporary neuroscience research as well as the anatomy of sensory systems, Baby Senses provides a unique window into how brains sense and interpret the world. It highlights sixteen systems that span traditional human senses, internal sensory systems, and little understood exotic systems.
