Nico heads back into the isles, then comes back with one book and starts to read it.

“So you think they’re real?” Lana asks, but doesn’t look up from her work.

“That’s what I’m researching,” Nico says. “Are they real or are they not real? That’s what I’m trying to find out.”

She nods again and continues writing. Her parchment is almost full now, and she is cramping small bites in the corners.

“You’re studying really hard.” He says, looking up from his book.

“What do you mean? I completely slacked off today.” She said.

Nico goes back to reading. ‘I really need to pick up my studying game.’ He thinks.

“I usually have a study schedule, but today I forgot to make one for the week. I’ll have to do it tomorrow,”

Nico continues reading.

Lana takes out a new roll of parchment, and three others slip onto the floor, each covered in notes. She bends to pick them up.

Nico heads back into the isles and comes back with two books and he starts to read the first one.

Lana watches him, smiles, and goes back to studying.

Nico starts to hum softly.

Lana hums along with him, not even realizing she was doing it.

Nico smiles, still humming, and still reading.

Lana also continues humming, but still isn’t paying attention. She flips back and forth in her book.

Nico picks up the second book and starts to read it.

Lana suddenly stops humming. “Sorry. I don’t know why I do that,”

“It’s fine.” He says, not looking up from his book.

Lana’s cheeks were blushing, and she goes back to reading her textbook.

Nico continues humming and reading.

“Well, I’m going back to the common room. I, ah, I can’t study any more,” She collects her things.

“Okay,” Nico says. “I’m going to stay in here a little longer.”

“Ok,” She leaves.

Nico led Lana in, sitting down at an empty table.

Lana followed, sitting down and plopping her book on the table. She took out the list, and a list of titles she had previously read on the topic.

Nico scanned through the list. He knew of a few books that might be helpful, so he made a mental note to find them.

“Any ideas?” Lana asked.

“Well, we could read a few books that might help, then make the potion. most of these ingredients can be found easily, and I think I have some of the harder to find ones, so that’s not a worry. I have the perfect place for us to make it as well.” Nico replied, with a half smile.

[Addie✨Lovegood✨Gilmore]

“You do? That’s good. I’m gonna go find some of the ones I’ve looked at that have helped before,” She nodded, and got up to walk off amoung the shelves.

Nico did the same, returning ten minutes later with a few books, maybe 8 - 10 in his arms.

She came back with five, and stared at the ones he’d collected, “You grabbed a lot.” She said, looking pleased.

Nico smiled. “What can I say, I had a thought of a lot of books on the topic.”

“Perfect.” She set her stack down, and grabbed a fresh roll of parchment from her bag, to note things down. “Guess we better get reading,”
