Whoo-hoo! This book made it in! Awesome! I will be here for it. I have owned this one for awhile now and have been wanting to read it. :)
I've already read this one, and actually was inspired to read it because it was voted on in previous months. I had mixed feelings on it, but am curious to see what others think. If anyone likes audiobooks, this one is narrated by the author, and he does a great job with it.

I am getting ready to start this and saw there is a podcast based on this book. I thinks I will read the book and then listen!
Y'all, this was so much fun! I love trashy vampires. Why aren't there more of them? Can anyone recommend any other vampire books where the vampires are... not-so-classy? Also wow, it got a lot creepier than I anticipated! Scariest vampire book I've read since 'Salem's Lot.
I'm excited to start this soon. I LOVE Between Two Fires so I'm stoked to read another boo by Buehlman.
Just started the audiobook this weekend and I’m hooked with that nitty gritty New York feel and accent! Can’t wait to see where the story leads, I’m digging the writing style so far.
Just finished this - so good. Spectacular ending. Among my favorite authors right now; I find his writing style to be engaging, refreshing, and smart. May not be everyone's cuppa, but just wanted to share how much I enjoyed this one!
Yes, I agree with all of the praise for this book. And Buehlman's narration in the audio book is outstanding! It is exactly as it is intended to be heard by the author. I have listened to all of his self narrated books and they are all great!
I'm behind on my reading this month, but I'm very much looking forward to this book. I loved "Between Two Fires" so I'm expecting fireworks for this one!
I just finished up and it is still one of my all time favorites. The Coda chapter is just perfection!
I’m so late to the party but I have this on my Kindle already and am in the mood for a vampire story so will be starting it when all my current reads are done 🧛🏻♀️ also love that Our Wives Under The Sea is looking to be one of next month’s reads because I have a copy of that on my shelves since release waiting to be read too 😅 this group motivates me !!
It wasn't typical book concerning the topic of vampires. I liked the idea that it was a little bit like post-apo and vampires in one. I enjoyed this book.
It looks like I'm bringing up the rear with this one. I just finished listening to the audio version of this this morning. For most of it I thought it was a solid 4-star read but the ending changed everything for me, making a pretty good vampire tale into my all-time favorite book about blood suckers. To top it off, the audio was narrated by Christopher Buehlman himself. Many thanks to whoever nominated this book.

The book was damn solid, and then the ending knocked it into extraordinary land!
Finished this one just now and WOW that ending! I’m still shocked but thinking back through the narrative it makes perfect sense! Review here ☺️ if you wanna please check it out ; https://www.goodreads.com/review/show...
