Dark Olympus series: help

Hello all, i saw the dark olympus series on tiktok and i was wondering if it's really fantasy or more real people? I love greek mythology but i dont like fantasy much so should i read it or not?
Can someone explain how i should see it? You know like, real world- real people, fantasy world-real people etc? Help me to imagine what i should expect please :)

Okay so i’ve read all the books in the series that have been published. But personally it’s not fantasy like and i wouldn’t have read it if it was because i’m not a fantasy person. It has a lot of smut just so you know. But it’s more of people who go by the names of the main people in greek mythology. They only get the name if the one before dies off so that’s how the naming works. I really don’t know how to explain any further. If you have any other questions I can try to help! I hope you enjoy it if you decide to read it!!

it's real people in the real world. Katee Robert has another series that's set in the same world called the Wicked Villains series that takes disney stories and kind of does the same thing with it.
