Are you new to this? The books are listed on the author's website as connected in a series. The books are listed on Amazon as connected by a series. Therefore they should be connected as a series on Goodreads. Other librarians have told me that they check Amazon to make sure the books belong together in a series. If you look on Lea Coll's author page on Goodreads it shows that she has four series. The Ever After series needs to be another series under this author, and the books need to be connected under that series. That is all I have ever said to this thread to get books added to a series before. I have no idea what you are asking.

For books to be considered a series they must have a real connection among the actual contents of the book. It doesn't matter what other sites or even the author calls it.
If other librarians have told you that they check Amazon to verify a series then they are doing it wrong.

Per Goodreads policies "To be a series, books should have characters and/or universes in common." which is what Scott was asking. Librarians ask questions not to be mean, difficult, or to waste your time. Librarian rights can be taken away if the librarian doesn't follow policy which is why we make sure before fulfilling a request. The fact that it's a series on Amazon or the publisher's site doesn't mean it's a series by Goodreads standards.You can check the policies regarding series here: https://help.goodreads.com/s/article/...
Sandy, you still need to answer Scott's questions before we can legitimately add "Ever After" as a series. This is Goodreads policy. Librarians who do not follow policy run the risk of losing their librarian status. However, it will be deleted if we cannot satisfy the conditions required for a series to be added to Goodreads. Whether Amazon or the author considers works to be a series has no bearing on Goodreads' requirements for a series.

Scott made very clear what he was asking in his comment #4.
I apologize to all if I offended you with my comment about making a series. I have never had anyone ask what the connection a book has to a series before. As far as I can tell the connection of all these books is all of the characters in the series work as wedding planners for the same business.
If they all work for the same fictional business then that is alright. It was not previously clear whether there was a distinct connection, or if it was just a "themed" series.

Other times we have to ask. :)
