Based on what would u give a book five stars?

Mine: if i ever feel the plot and the story, think abt it 24/7 and if feel so sad after finishing it

pure vibes. it could have the worst writing in the world but if I fall in love with the story, it gets 5 stars. I hand them out a little too much but I’d rather have lots of books that I love than just a few that meet a strict criteria

I go by mostly how much I massively enjoyed it as well as how it meets my personal criteria, especially as a romance reader, chemistry, banter, dynamics, character arcs have to be 10/10 for me.

If the book keeps me entertained and I like the characters and relationships, I’ll give it 5 stars. Also if I can’t stop thinking about the book (in a good way) I’ll give it 5 stars as well, and of course it has to have good writing or easily accessible writing.
