Nothing but a dareHaunting Adeline
Things we never got over— this one was nicely written but the characters caused me endless grief, it’s been a few years and I’m still frustrated with them

😂 sameee for "things we never got over", the thing I realized is that you need to read this with color rainbow glasses on. It was a good book, but just wasn't for me.
Haunting Adeline- H.D. Carlton (yes I’m reading the second book, this crap is low-key so funny to read.)Rock Paper Scissors - Alice Feeney (I’m so sorry but I genuinely was so bored out by this book.)
The Kiss Quotient - Helen Hoang (I usually love spicy books but this one just didn’t hit the same. I kept on cringing throughout the book, although I didn’t hate the writing style.)
By the way, it’s not the crazy stuff that happens in Haunting Adeline that makes me necessarily hate it, I can read some gruesome stuff, but the writing just gives me the ick. Some of the terms used to describe literally anything have me side eyeing the pages.
the way i used to be, the mc pissed me off sm 😭 and it made me so mad i jus wanted to DNF but i wanted it off my tbr so i finished it
I really hate being this person because I only want to uplift authors but I have two:In the Cards by Amy Isaman
One of those faces by Elle Grawl
Both were so bad. I DNFed one of those faces which I never do. In the Cards I soldiered through but it was really forgettable and not great writing. She used the words chintz so many times that it was insane.
I didn't like A Thousand Boy Kisses very much. It was very drawn out and quite boring, so much so that I didn't even finish reading it.

SERIOUS? I freaked out with the love hypothesis......
Aurora by David Koepp. Had so much potential with the plot but every single character was literally insufferable and horrible in an actual bad way. And this book is apparently being picked up by Netflix so I’m like oof
I may have read worse books in the past, in school or something. But since I really started reading last summer, the absolute worst book I've read is The Silent Patient.
im sorry but i literally cannot even explain the rage i feel toward ‘the american roommate experiment’it was so slow. the climax of the book was so unsatisfying. and the characters had no character.
Ugh, definetely One Day by David and Lessons in Chemistry, I literally wanted to smash my head against the wall while reading

Totally agree, I was so frustrated while reading it
For me It's The Fine Print 😐 it's only a few first chapter and the main characters already be horny 💀
the wrath and the dawn by Renée Ahdieh expected a better enemies to lovers. My girl was liking his ass wayy too soon and I felt like the magic system came out of nowhere (I did read this book in a readathon at like 2 am after finish FBAA, so I may have been delirious)
