Hey y’all I’m kind of in a slump, I’ve been reading really slow and I’ve just been pretty unmotivated :( What are some things you guys do to overcome your reading slumps??

Hi Lex, I change the book zona genre that I read rarely (for me that are comedy or romance). It helps if one doesn't know to much about these tropes, so that one does get more easily suprised and sucked in. Also short storys; finished them gives positive feedback a là I can finish texts.
I had some years of not reading much and thanks to my Instagram algorithm showing more and more Bookstagram accounts (recs, general book nerd stuff, lovely reading nooks and impressive book shelves) I fell in love with books all over again. Also, physical copies. Ebooks are fine for vacations but having a book sit next to my comfy chair reminds me to actually take it up again. Sometimes it even helps that I usually read library books so there is a maximum time frame until I must have finished. And browsing the library is like book shopping - without spending money ;)
Happy readings :)
