Caraval and OUABH

Hey, I want to read Once Upon a Broken Heart and I've read Caraval but I stopped at the 2nd book, do I need to finish the series before reading OUABH??

I read OUABH before reading Caraval and it's my favorite read this year! Some things would probably make a bit more sense if I read Caraval before OUABH series but nonetheless i don't think you have to finish it !! happy reading <3

thank youuu, I don't really feel like finishing Caraval series :') the characters annoy me so much, I didn't want to read another Stephanie Garber's but everyone's talking about OUABH and I wanted to give it a chance
