You can add words to a title temporarily to get them to show together; just remember to change it back when done.

So searching for work ids does not work? Cause it seems the easiest way to find different books.
I've never gotten work ids to work for me. I hate that it is the default.

Not very happy of course that the methods described in combining itself actually do not work.
You can’t actually *search* by Work IDs, but it is the only method to combine when the works are on different combine pages. (Cyrillic might be on Page 2 or 3, when the main work is on Page 1, for example.)

Just saying there is no such ids.
And for someone like Hemingway this did not work at all as: "This author has too many books to display; use Work IDs to combine. Large works can take a while to display."
Work IDs are on the Other Editions page. Are you getting the numbers there?

And does anyone knows how long it takes to combine books now? I tried to combine two yesterday and i still can see they are not combined :/

Usually it completes right away.
It's merging that takes a while.

And, as Scott says, if they don't combine within an hour, just try it again.
Also, the system likes small, sometimes very small, batches of editions added to the very large works. It doesn't like to combine 25 and more editions with a work that already has several thousand.

Sorry for bothering you again, hopefully this is the last question I have about this topic) I managed to combine the edition with the other editions of the book, which is included into series. I can see the other editions has the series name above the title on the book page. But mine do not. Should it appear there later or I need to do something? I can see in Work Settings section the series informations already appeared. This is the book I combined just in case it is easier to see what I mean.

It will appear there after a delay. The book page is cached and not all changes will show up immediately.

the question is - how to find the books to combine them if I have them in different languages.
trying to search by keywords doesn't work as I can't use two languages input at one time.
trying to search by work ids which I take from the book url also does not find anything.
How do you usually do this?
